 Decontamination of a facility may involve selective demolition of certain building components such as concrete floor surfaces, building pavements, underground pipelines or ballast stone on a roof system.  Concord routinely performs the selective demolition work, the removal of the contaminated media and the required site restoration.

Tarrywile Tank Project, Erected for the City of Danbury, CT Accomplished in 1991

Concord was the general contractor for the construction of this 3 million gallon water storage tank, which was part of the Water System Improvement Program for the City of Danbury.  The project involved extensive site work including a 23’ rock cut into the hillside for placement of the tank foundation.    In 1992 the project received national recognition  by the Steel Plate Fabricators Association as “1991 Steel Tank of The Year”
