Concord offers a wide variety of professional services, listed below are projects that are typical to our company.
Areas suspected to be contaminated are sampled and then removed or remediated, surrounding areas are also sampled prior to closure to ensure regulatory compliance. Decontaminated property is returned to its original condition or improved as required. Utility work, asphalt paving, concrete work masonry and or landscaping is accomplished in house with Concord equipment and personnel or subcontracted to other experienced professionals.

Underground and aboveground storage tanks are typical in this region and can come in many different sizes, Concord is capable of removing tanks from 550 to 30,000 gallons. In most cases, tanks need to be removed prior to property transfers, and any contaminated soil due to releases remediated at that time. Should a tank be in a position where its removal is not possible, Concord has the ability to clean, fill and abandon the tank in place. Additionally, state of the art underground tank installations are available.

Concord is a full service Contractor, providing single source responsibility for many of our clients' needs. Many of our clients elect to assign us total responsibility for development and implementation of remedial action plans and the design and replacement of building structures and landscapes disturbed by the remediation process. We can take your project from start to finish by developing plans, choosing qualified professionals & subcontractors and executing the work to meet your budget, your schedule and your level of quality.
Decontamination of a facility may involve selective demolition of certain building components such as concrete floor surfaces, building pavements, underground pipelines or ballast stone on a roof system. Concord routinely performs the selective demolition work, the removal of the contaminated media and the required site restoration.

Concord is registered as a demolition contractor by the State of Connecticut.
Concord has an exceptional safety record; our technical expert conducts hazard analyses before and during each demolition project, additionally all of our workers have successfully completed 40-hour Health & Safety Training and annual 8-hour refresher courses.
We have experience with fast track shut downs, dust free and challenging work environments.

Contaminated soil must be handled properly and in accordance with State and Federal laws and regulations, Concord has experience with these laws and regulations and is fully licenced and insured to haul contaminated soils. With our open accounts and long working relationships with the major waste disposal facilities located in the Northeastern United States and Canada, Concord can quickly establish the most efficient and cost effective disposal route for your project. In the Ansonia waste water treatment plant project (shown below) Concord was able to remove and dispose of 22,000 tons of contaminated soil in one month.
Dry cleaning facilities historically used chemicals such as trichloroethylene (TCE) and perchloroethene (PERC) which have since been identified as carcinogens and deemed harmfull to the environment. Any media containing these chemicals must be removed, properly containerized and disposed of in the proper landfill. In the event where materials cannot be removed a remediation technique such as a vapor extraction system must be installed. Concord has sucessfully performed projects such as these in the past, and in many cases business was able to continue during the remediation process.

Concord's services are not limited to the opperations above, if there is an environmental service you require that is not shown please do not hesistate to contact us.
